The main choice is between using a WordPress hosted Blog or using another host and uploading WordPress to that. Our own preference is to use Hostgator to host the site and WordPress with one of the free themes. The Surrey Hat Studio site uses the Twenty Eleven Theme, which is a free theme but very powerful. But the key is you can upgrade the theme all in good time. It’s more important to get your content layout sorted first. Hope that’s useful. Surrey Hat Team
